I came up with one post, because that's all I looked for; and onyx came up with one, too.

And do I even need to point out that I did, in fact, find ONE and FA hasn't been able to?

Just keeping posting though; the more you squeal, the more irrelevant you become.

"NEWT!!! NEWT!!! NEWT!!!"

You are correct. He's our only candidate WITH A REAL SHOT who would make the right Supreme Court nominations. The next president WILL put atleast one justice on the bench - and make no mistake about it, this is our last chance to take back the Court.

wow calling me a liar?? thats sweet. musta hit a nerve;)

to answer your Q-

niether, ive looked at their records and i dont see much difference.

im not saying id vote for hillary, infact i dont even buy into all this hype that only rudy can beat her.

conservatives will come in MASS to beat hitlary (just as they did Gore) if we have a solid CONSERVATIVE candidate.

oh and lets not forget that her own base (the moonbats) hate her.

moderates? maybe, but there arent near as many as ppl claim.
infact ive found very few moderates and the ones that are, usually dont vote, they are moderates because they dont stand for anything.

We need a real conservative to run, not "hillary light".
If hillary changed her stance on the WOT what would really be the diff between her and rudy???

Im for duncan hunter and i believe time will show him to be the frontrunner. i guess well see in the coming months:)

Hunter -- cannot raise the money necessary,

Just contributed a bit of my money to gohunter08.com somewhat idealistically, but more realistic than most of the starry-eyed Giuliani posters here. They sound like he's running for class president except for his excellent WOT credentials. But Hunter has those plus he won't unleash trial lawyers on the personal protection (firearm) industry the way Giuliani did.

Yeah you are really "concerned"

I've not broken the rules of the site. I've been on Free Republic longer than almost everyone else. I haven't changed, Jim Robinson has. Not knowing who is protected and who is not, not knowin what specific thoughts and ideas are prohibited and which are not, I fear that I will not successfully be able to navigate this new minefield that Jim Robinson has now laid. I'm not angry at Jim Robinson. I'm frustrated, sure. But mostly I feel a profound feeling of disappointment at Jim's recent actions, recent statements, and the fact that he is squandering Free Republic's potential and promise in pursuit of something I can't identify. Funny, I feel precisely the same way about today's Republican Party.

"I feel of all the candidates running he would make the best CiC."

Why? His legs? His support for Democrats? His gun-grabbing record? Ah, his support for killing babies! Yeah, just what we need. Not.

I think that a great many FReepers, like you, have lost your course because you've jettisoned your allegedly conservative ideals

That one post shows what a pompous sanctimonious A$$ you are.

Like I thought, you all are realizing how irrelevant you are so you have to come on all these threads and trash anybody and everybody who doesn't have the same tunnel vision brown shirted views you do.

And I bet you have no clue how many people are GLAD you don't speak for them.

I think Rudy would pull in many more moderate/independents than Hillary ever could. According to all the polls, he is the best liked political figure among moderates/independents. I'm sure there might be a few social conservatives that might stay home but that number will be more than off set by the many more moderates/independents Rudy would attract. I believe most social conservatives will see we are deep into the WOT and we don't need another Clinton as CiC right now. They know the Clinton's track record of fight terrorism.

The decline of FR mirrors the decline of the Republican Party. Both have jettisoned their core principles and are now facing the consequences. Who wants to stay on board a rudderless ship?

But you are equating both FR AND the Republican party ... BOTH are rudderless. You act like you are going to leave both FR and the Republican party. Right?

Keep reading youer word BOTH.

Man. I looked at the old 1999 threads just to make sure I remembered correctly, and I saw a lot of the same exact remarks as now. It always seems to be the same people spouting the same nonsense.

Second verse, same as the first.
