You see, uniting the one issue conservatives is not as important as getting the common sense conservatives who want to win in coalition with the rest of the Republicans, Indy's, and conservative Democrats who also place WOT and national security at the top of their lists along with smaller government.Yeah, that held the GOP majority in 2006 /sarcasm.

Ignore them at your own peril. At least Mitt understands the need to move right. You and Rudy don't.
Sorry to burst your bubble but there are many Republicans who are also Conservative that don't put abortion even close to the top of their list when looking at a candidate. Bill Bennett was one in his list.
I would suggest Rudy do a poll to see how criticial the social issues are for holding the party together.
