Who are you supporting and why are they qualified to be president or what do you consider to be the most important qualifications of a presidential candidate and why?

There were a few facists like Revilo Oliver, and there were a few anti-semites in the group. But there were some very patriotic Americans. Mr. Buchanan really reminds me of an old-time Bircher (I'll let others guess why)...

Giuliani has said he is against gay marriage!! Secondly, marriage is a state issue. The President has NO power over it at all.

But seriously, if they are this nasty now, I don't want to see them this time next year. Their name calling is an act of desperation, they know they are losing the facts war. Rudy is a conservative on fiscal, domestic, and foreign policy and a states righter on social issues that will appoint strict constructionist judges. He turned NYC from a bankrupt, crime ridden dump, into the thriving city it is today, he is very competent and would make a fantastic CiC. And did we mention he has the best chance of beating Hillary. These are facts and they know it but they just can't get past gays. For some reason they are more afraid of gays than terrorist and Hillary in charge of fight them.

We would do just fine under a Giuliani administration. You make a number of good points. And appreciate your thoughtfulness!

He took on the 5 families (the mob) when he was a district attorney in a RICO suit.

And then he went on to appoint mobbed up Bernie Kerik to be the NYPD Commissioner - the most powerful law enforcement position in New York City. Not satisfied with that stunt, he twisted the President's arm and got him to appoint Kerik to be head of the Department of Homeland Security. One of the most powerful law enforcement positions in the United States. Way to fight the mob. He shows really sound judgement when it comes to law enforcement and all, doesn't he?

I think Duncan Hunter or any number of other potential candidates could do the same. When Giuliani isn't even a candidate yet, why do you people insist we accept him with open arms already? Shouldn't he prove himself first?
