(Jennifer Hudson)... she wants to act like she didn't get any praise and that Simon hated her....not true! She always had a bit of an attitude, IIRC.
She was right not to thank Idol in her Oscar speech, but she shouldn't be trashing the show or Simon now. That shows a lack of class.

Thought the show was pretty lame tonight. Funny because some of the guys I "like" weren't' very good (Sundance and Phil) and some of the guys I haven't thought were very good were good tonight (Brandon and Jared).
I was thinking the same thing.

She should thank Idol. Without it nobody would have ever heard of her. Getting booted off was also the best thing that could have happened to her.

Watch the pre-Oscar Barbara Walters interview with her here http://www.gofish.com/player.gfp?gfid=30-1083271 which includes the clip where Simon told her in fairly harsh terms that, "I think you are out of your depth in this competition," and that "I don't think you're capable of doing anything better at all to have any chance to win this competition."
He was brutal, yet she was gracious in the Walters interview, crediting AI for helping her get a start.
It's a nice video. I think you'll like it.

I take back what I said about Jennifer. I'm glad she visited Idol and didn't pretend like she was never on the show.
The Dreamgirls star says, "I just went to visit the show. I wanted to surprise the kids. I wanted to meet the contestants.
That's nice, but I think some of the "kids" are older than she is.
