It is reported that Senator Lott has a list of 10 names of GOP senators who have elected to stand with the democrats, instead of supporting our own WAR TIME, GOP POTUS.

The list thus far:

Brownback;

Coleman;

Lugar?;

Snow;

Collins;

Hagel;

and likely

Voinovich;

Smith;

Two have not yet been named (outed).

.

A few quotes:

To H with them
The Senate has to be the most over-estimated, pompous, exaggerated self-aggrandized group of individuals I have ever seen.

You nailed it, buddy.

Brownback and Hagel are going to be at the very bottom of the pile, in the GOP primary race, IF they still have the nerve to throw their hats into the ring. Damn them both and damn ALL the GOPer RINOS who side with the Dems, against President Bush!

Sure wish he would've made the cut in '94. I would love to see his 08 presidential campaign.

Actually the WRONG Republicans lost...

Santorum and Allen would have been totally behind Pres. Bush...in fact, Santorum may have been out front of Pres. Bush.

We sure have a shitload of gutless wonders on our side, don't we. Even in the leadership.

No wonder we always get our asses kicked.

Watch what the Dims are able to get with only the barest of majorities.

That's because they march in jackbooted lockstep behind their thuggish leaders.

The Republicans could learn something about handling their renegades by watching the Demonazis at work.

North is high on what is happening in Anbar province. I don't ever see anything about it in the MSM, though.

Hard to remember votes that I didn't agree with Senators Inhofe and Coburn and my Congressman Tom Cole as they happen so infrequently and never anything major.

That's the problem, Brokenback thinks he has a chance to be president; but he's going to try that, in the wrong party.

Thanks for starting 'The List'

Here is my letter to Brownback:

Dear Senator Brownback,

As a strong supporter of our Republican members of Congress and conservative ideals, I am saddened by your withdrawal of support for our Commander in Chief and for our troops on the ground. I fear this will not bode well for your future plans to run as our country's Commander in Chief.

You appear to have fallen victim to the liberal press and the biased polls and while you may think that your position will help you in some way with moderates in your state or elsewhere.....you have just lost the support of the base of our party.

I do hope that you will reconsider your position and support our country and our Commander in Chief in the War On Terror.

Probably. I'd be willing to bet they're only talking to Democrats. All the dems I know keep trying to convince me that McCain is conservative. I tell them they can vote for him if they like him so much. I won't.

He said he had ten names but didn't name them and then Warner got on the list and comes out right away supporting the President.

Here is a more updated version about Lott

http://www.sunherald.com/mld/sunherald/16415415.htm
Lott, R-Miss., said in a statement that the status quo in Iraq is unacceptable and the United States military needs an approach "which may include a troop surge, but not that alone."

"The surge should only be a single component of a broader plan," said Lott, the Republicans' second in-command in the Senate. "I want to see the whole package, including ways to get the Iraqis to produce more results from their training, to get the militias under control. We should make it clear to the Iraqi government that they have to do more, and that we're not going to stay and provide them cover indefinitely."

They've tried to pull the rug out from under our troops even before the President made the case tonight. It's incredible.

The division in the Congress (both Houses) is Conservative/Liberal, not Republican/Democrap!
