It is reported that Senator Lott has a list of 10 names of GOP senators who have elected to stand with the democrats, instead of supporting our own WAR TIME, GOP POTUS.
Brownback;
Coleman;
Lugar?;
Snow;
Collins;
Hagel;
and likely
Voinovich;
Smith;
Two have not yet been named (outed).
.
Republican Sens. George Voinovich of Ohio and John Warner of Virginia also might be persuaded. Warner said he supports the Iraq Study Group recommendations, which strongly cautioned against an increase in troops unless advocated by military commanders.
"The Party had better understand that it will have financial consequence for these traitors that call themselves Republicans."
Brownback has BIG PLANS. We got a Christmas card from him and don't even LIVE IN KANSAS!! LOL...he just lost whatever he was trying to gain by his card in this family!!
Coleman and Brownback??? That's pretty surprising, if true.
Oh, sheesh. I wasn't expecting that...
Lindsey Graham I suppose?
Okay...if we don't have a definitive list by tomorrow..
What we should do is call all of the Senator's offices and ask them where they stand on this plan...
Then we can post the answers here.
Anyone that has Republican Senators....like ME..I have Kay Bailey Hutchison and John Cornyn.
I need to call both of their offices. I heard on a talk show today that Kay Bailey Hutchison has said she does NOT support Pres. Bush's plan...but, I would like confirmation.
I haven't heard John Cornyn...but he has endorsed everything Prs. Bush has done...except the immigration bill...
So...any of you that don't have any Rep Senators maybe can call some that don't have any freepers to contact them.
UNFORGIVABLE
I was teaching when he was in high school. He would sell his soul even then. He has not changed.
We start by calling Lott and demanding he tell us their names.
I thought it was Lott who said he had ten names?
No, Mrs. McCain is solidly supporting POTUS, just like John McCain.
The surprise was Graham and his statement. More than supportive.
Amazing that he did not get the message. Absolutely amazing.
I thought we were done with the disloyal Rino thing when Chafee got put out to pasture. I guess there are always more idiots where he came from.
I heard it reported TWICE that Lott has 10 names.
Thank you, deport!!!!
...anti-American jerks will not receive a dime....
agree! that's where it will hurt them....and that's why, I will call the RNC tomorrow (1-202-863-8500)to let them know I will give NO MORE money to the RNC until the Senate gets it's act together. While the RNC has no jurisdiction over the Senate, but, if the RNC may speak up if they are being hurt financially because of Senators. But, I'm not optimistic.....Mel Martinez (unfortunately, my Senator) is now head of RNC and, while he 'talks a good show' his actions don't support this American's views. I believe Mr. Martinez is in favor of giving SS benefits to ILLEGAL immigrants.
I've contributed to Senators from states other than my own (Thune, Allen, Santorum and once to Coleman) but, no more unless they support the President and initiatives that are pro-American vs politically correct.
I hope it isn't true about Lugar, but it probably is. Last election I was hoping so strongly that he would be replaced by another Republican. The state party had him listed on their website as a candidate and were making all kinds of excuses for him. As if they knew he was a jerk, but they said it wasn't all the time. He supports the president sometimes! He is worthless. I'll write him, but it seems not to do any good.
Well...since I posted that post...I have heard on a local radio show...John Cornyn say that he stands fully behind Pres. Bush...
So...we can put Cornyn on the "good guys" list.
But we have got to keep R. A. T. S.---That is a great acronym for Coleman, Brownback, Snowe, Collins, Hagel, (by the way that is 2 of the POTUS candidates...Hagel and Brownback.
So.....I guess they believe what Sissy Chrissy has said.
That any POTUS candidate for 2008...HAS to be a "bring the troops home" type person.
I've asked AM to add your entire post to the body of my initial posting. I hope it's possible.
I've got Burr and Dole. I'll make those calls.
