The Southern Baptist Convention disavowed old Walter, your HERO, over 1/2 a century ago.

I don't know how old you are, but I may have been through confirmation class ( in which I was a straight A student and the head of the class ), in the Methodist church long ago. That class was almost an entire year long and we went through the complete history of Judaism, Catholicism, and every single Protestant sect. The final exam was a killer and I easily received an A+ on it, being told that my essay was brilliant. We also had many an oral exams, extensive memorizations to do and be quizzed on, and I excelled at all of them; remembering still, just about every single thing I learned in those classes, to this very day.

I was and still am a Wesleyan Methodist of the old school; not one of those hippy/dippy UNITED METHODIST CHURCH ones.

You can get up off the floor now and I suggest, that in the future, you refrain from making absurd assumptions about people you know nothing at all about.

Your "respected" source, OTOH, was a DEFROCKED minister, who continually LIED about his education, his degrees, and his connection with not one, but TWO Baptist groups. He also LIED about being descended from Brigham Young, being related to Young, and a host of other things as well.

Your "respected" source was a LIAR, a fraud, and a con man!

Well, congratulations, then. I'm glad you know that the Mormon church teaches non-Christian doctrine and that they are a cult, then.

No more needs to be said -- as long as you know that (and, of course, the others who are reading this).

We seem to finally be narrowing down on the issue of the Mormons being a non-Christian cult and coming to a consensus on the matter.

And that's all the point was -- that people were clear on the fact that Mormonism is a non-Christian cult -- although they may be *very religious* (I'll give them that). They're just not "Christian" in the baisc and historic tradition and teachings of the Christian church at large.

Regards,
Star Traveler
