I'm not saying Republicans should instantly support abortion or homosexual rights. But it's redundant of them to highlight their strong stand on social issues all the time.
Limit the size of gov't, cut taxes, and fight the WOT like WWII. Then the social issues will take care of themselves.
I am sure there will be a lot of people voting twice for Rudy. That's what really worries me.
We do not have a Ronald Reagan, we have the ones who are running this time. And there aren't many who can win in this now far more divided country with a far more powerful, openly biased and corrupt media that won the last one for the Democrats...And nearly put Kerry in office.
LOL -- there's one candidate who won't make it out of the primaries, but who just might run third party.
Give me a break. Now I love Tancredo but even I'm grounded in reality that he has no chance of winning the WH.
We lose big time if we allow Republican principles to be hijacked. What is supposed to be "winning" about nominating a liberal democrat? I don't care what they call themselves, a pig is a pig!
Thats Swenetah McWayne to you, pal.
He's really a waste of everyone's time, isnt he?
And that's the point with Giuliani: pro-partial birth abortion, pro-gun control, pro-gay, pro-everything-liberal-except: money and crime.
In other words, Giuliani is a democrat who woke up to a few polls one morning.
If we believe in principle, we de-create Giuliani now and create a conservative candidacy.
Please. He has absolutely no chance of winning. Hell, he has no chance of being nominated. You have to base your decisions on the world as it is, not the world as you want it to be.
Signed, sealed, delivered.
do they NOT know who he is?
In 1981, Giuliani was named Associate Attorney General, the third highest position in the Department of Justice. As Associate Attorney General, Giuliani supervised all of the US Attorney Offices' Federal law enforcement agencies, the Bureau of Corrections, the Drug Enforcement Agency, and the US Marshals.
In 1983, Giuliani was appointed US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, where he spearheaded the effort to jail drug dealers, fight organized crime, break the web of corruption in government, and prosecute white-collar criminals. Few US Attorneys in history can match his record of 4,152 convictions with only 25 reversals.
The Terminator...
Guess you can see the folks who want you to vote Republican even if the candidate is completely unacceptable are already out in force. You don't dare express your belief in principle around here.
Rino Rudy and McPain are unelectable. The will split the party. Why do you think the liberal media is suching these liberals so much?
Honey, you are preaching Tancredo.
You vote against McCain or Guiliani, you get Hellary, Breck Girl, or Obama/Osama.
Bottom line, end of discussion.
Sorry, folks, but them's the breaks.
If you have to be that dumb, go ahead and do it. Sometimes I do. Still, we would both be better off acting a little smarter.
I am talking about social issues, which do divide this country when emphasized too much in a national election.
If we cancel Giuliani/McCain and help Tancredo launch, the sky is the limit: believe.
No Romney?
