No Giuliani, No McCain
Petition Online ^ | Dec. 14, 2006 | Andrew Longman

Posted on 12/15/2006 7:22:32 PM PST by FarRockaway

To: The Republican Party

I am a Christian conservative or social conservative. I am Pro-Life. I vote.

Rudy Giuliani is pro-gay, pro-gun control, and pro-abortion.

For these reasons and others, I state very firmly that I will not vote for Rudy Giuliani for President of the United States under any circumstances.

Senator John McCain has waffled on human cloning, has supported experimentation on human embryos, and has attacked prominent Christian clergy because of the, "evil influence that they exercise." John McCain has said of Pro-Life voters, on a public broadcast radio show, that they are, "otherwise intelligent people who say that that's the only issue that will determine their vote." McCain told the San Francisco Chronicle, "I would not support repeal of Roe v. Wade."

For these reasons and others, I state very firmly that I will not vote for John McCain for President of the United States under any circumstances.

Sincerely,

I am an atheist and I am pretty tired of the Rosie O'Donnell wing of the Republican party who think the Christians are just as bad as the Taliban. I agree with the conservatives and also think rotting the country from the inside out isn't helping us one bit...

How the hell can you have a good soldier with a clear head if they are queers, stupid, high on drugs or just out for themselves?

Yeah. Because there appears to be a crowd of people here who demand conservatives support liberal republicans like Lincoln Chafee "because they can win." And while trashing those who trash liberal republicans, they trash conservative republicans, like Tom Tancredo, J.D. Hayworth and Ted Poe.

I'm done listening to people who demand I support liberal republicans while simultaneously attacking conservative republicans.

Your party? Think again.  My party is smarter than this.

Standing up against the homosexual agenda and abortion...

BS.  This article is standing up for the permanent dominance of the radical leftist who support the homosexual agenda, abortion on demand, the end of the United States as a sovereign nation, surrender to the Jihadists and endorsement of the goal of all those who want God's word wiped from the planet.  This article is their work against us, not something we should be falling for.

Rudy and John aren't perfect?  Goody.  I agree with you.  There was one and only one Perfect Person.  And you know Who I mean.

The alternatives that the folks who wrote this article are pushing are Hillary, Obama and Osama, asshat!  Support or oppose Rudy, support or oppose McLame (whom I loathe), support or oppose Tancredo (who I think may be a clown), but if you buy into the crap in this article you only serve those who deny Him.  Many of the chosen, such as Saul, were sinners, or didn't you know that?.  There was a Roman tax collector among the disciples.  Do you condemn him?  Do you honor instead the Sanhedrin of His time because they were "pure?"

Grow up and do the heavy lifting.  It's not all easy slogans.  It really is that simple to me.  Articles like this are designed to serve THEM.  THEY write them.  THEY used this crap to beat us this last election.  Or are you that dense?

Satan is the great deceiver.  Remember that.

I think I can call this one.. Neither McCain or Rudy will win the primaries.. period.. not because of values.. it is because the media doesn't want someone that will give the Hil/Osama..er..Obama ticket a challenge.. both of these guys have way way too much dirt in their closets and you know it will come out.. imagine what 90% of the country will think when they see Rudy in drag or McCain stumbling through a speech drunk?

"I'll take this one.. I am fine with people believing these because as a practice, they don't strap bombs to their kids and send them into bus stations! Sure, they may be theologically F***ed, but they are currently not killing hundreds of thousands of Christians and Jews in the name of their religion.."

Anyone who believes religious affiliation has zero impact on the qualifications for the presidency is simply a moron without hope of persuasion. If a candidate is theologically messed up, how can they not help be a mess in their political philosophy?

It's as if you said "I'll vote for a paranoid schizophrenic for president as long as they are a supply sider", that's how stupid neglecting the religious affiliation of a candidate is.

That does not mean only one religion can hold office (the typical rejoinder from idiots), but it does mean religious affiliation can certainly be a disqualifying factor.

I thought this forum had avoided the "tolerance is everything" relativist mindset, but apparently cob webs still cloud the craniums of many here.

McCain drunk? When was this?
Really I don't care about Rudy in drag, it shows he has a sense of humor, is secure with himself, can laugh at himself, etc. All the candidates have negatives.

"Of course, it's a trap."

What's the trap? It's a very simple question. I'm sure you'll be demanding everyone support Giuliani in 2008 if he is the republican nominee.

"And they're usually posted by somebody like you who has an agenda and doesn't have what's best for this country in their heart."

You don't have an agenda? How do you have anything better for the country in your heart? You're just throwing out a bunch of BS and hoping something sticks.

"Believe"
The motto of Christianity???
OoooKayyyy....

On a more serious note, fair or not the media's motto for Tancredo is "I hate Spics." Anyone who can be painted with that brush is looking at a Dukakis-scale landslide defeat at a national level. Because he is known as vehemently anti-immigrant, the MSM depict him as anti-Hispanic - kiss of death.

So many sincere, categorical statements:

I'll never vote for ___________________
(insert name here)

Who cares? There are thousands of members of this forum who'll never vote for ___________________ (insert name here) Do you want them all to announce it here? Listen up: I'll never buy a General Motors automobile! I'll never drink Dr Pepper! I'll never shop at Montgomery Wards! Got it?

Good evening.
"You vote against McCain or Guiliani, you get Hellary, Breck Girl, or Obama/Osama."

Listen to what you are saying. Our choice to beat a patently phony ambulance chaser who has already lost once, a one term Senator who has yet to explain where he stands or have dung thrown at him, and the Hildebeast is between a Rino who has consistently opposed our President and who may be crazy as a coot, and a New York liberal who is pro-choice, pro gun control and an adulterer to boot.

I actually don't really give a damn about any of their private lives but everything else matters.

You hold the DemocRATs you name in high regard, don't you. Well, it's a little early for you to try to tell me how to vote and your choices suck anyway.

Them are indeed the breaks.

There are only 2 possible GOP candidates that would make me stay at home should they get the nomination. It has nothing to do with their conservative record since both fit the bill. It has to do with their mental stability. Those two are McCain and Tancredo.

[Why would I be ignorant to oppose the presidency of someone who believes they will become God of their own planet? Seems like a pretty real problem to me.]

Caution may be helpful in this area. I personally don't think much of the idea of a place of eternal reward for those who are deemed worthy by an omnipotent being -in which all Christians believe, but I have enough respect for the sincere beliefs of those who do, to consider voting for them if they are otherwise qualified. This view represents a not insignificant number of people here on FR.

If its McCain vs. Hillary I vote McCain.

If its Rudy vs. Hillary I vote Hillary.

The only difference between them is Rudy gave a check back to the Arabs.

Re: McCain- There have been a couple of speeches where he was stumbling through it, even jokes here he was 'drunk'.. imagine how that can be used if needed by the left..

Re: Rudy- I agree, the drag thing is stupid and I'm sure most people have some pics from Halloween or Frat parties they don't want shown.. The point is, like with McCain, what would the media do with that and what would the 90% out there who don't research beyond their 5:pm NBC news cast take that as?

The sad part is we (Freepers and those who are active) feel like we represent a large population, those who are informed, but the sad reality is most folks don't take the time to really dig into a story, they take their one trusted source and follow it...
