Oh, there is something to this case in that two agents who knew better and were experienced failed to report they shot their guns off at someone.

They were in their rights to do it, but what they did makes their bosses and pubic wonder what the thinking could be.
They did that to themselves, but years is ridiculous.

Jobs lost and two years probation with no rights to own and carry weapons again would have been plenty IMO.

The only appropriate punishment should be a letter directing them to spend more time at the firing range. Keep it there 5 years.

NOW you are talking. There is something disproportionate about the sentence handed down. It stinks.
