Most people here haven't lived with the Shaivo case as local news (like you and I have) since the story started over 11 years ago. And I am also a big fan of the various branches of government NOT going outside of their jurisdictions. It still disturbs me that there are people who advocated a violent clash between different law enforcement agencies. That's why I could never support Gallagher and fully support Crist. I think Christ has done an excellent job as AG, too.

I think it still rubs a lot of people that Judge Greer was re-elected with 80% of the vote in Pinellas Country, even after his opponent, who relentlessly attacked him over Schiavo, and who outspent him by about 10:1. Terri was, as you said, long since gone and her husband carried out her wishes.
