According to Fox 35, Charlie Crist is the winner of the Republican Primary for Governor.
Time for us to get behind him.

Are you serious? Most polls show Crist up roughly 10 points on Davis already, and there is no question that Crist will outraise Davis. How can you say that Davis is UNBEATABLE, given this FACTUAL evidence?

I think that's unfair. Many of Crist's supporters are Christians, I'm sure. I think the feces flingers, perhaps, need a refresher course, though, in the teachings of Jesus. I'm sure he would not be amused.
Who's the red-headed kid in that photo? You really might want to provide more information. He looks a lot like a guy I knew in high school in California. I doubt that he ever moved to Florida, though, and he'd be 60 now.

Who's going to refuse to vote for Harris? I think she's a bad candidate, but if I lived in Florida, I'd vote for her, just to try to keep the Democrat from continuing on to the Senate. And, if you've read my writings about Harris, you know my opinion of her.
I still think she loses, big time, in November, but that's a judgment call on the election, not on her. She's still a flake, but she's a Republican.

Floriduh voter doesn't care about all that, doncha see? She's all about Terri. Crist killed Terri, you see, and that's all that matters. She doesn't care what Florida does in 2008. That's of no interest. Crist killed Terri.

I think what she means is that she and her fellow anti-Crists have lots more dirt to throw around. They think they have more nasty things they can say about Crist, and believe that will swing the election to Davis.
Perhaps they have suspicions that Crist engages in bestiality (you know he owns a cat) or necrophilia (someone saw him at a cemetary).
Rumors like that will certainly sink Crist, you see...just like they did in the primary. I mean that whole business about him not being married, having no children (well there was that bastard child), and living in a rented condo, must have cost him tens of votes.
That group is purely delusional. Pay no attention to them. I think Crist can win. Of course, according to the anti-Crists, that will mean death to everyone over, uh...let's see...85. Some of his opponents are in their late 60s, you see, so they're starting to get worried.

See if you can pay attention for a minute. I have a great sense of humor. You can find my humorous stuff all over Free Republic.
I do not find calumny against Christianity funny. I do not find calumny against any religion funny. Personally, I have no religion, but I deeply respect those who do.
This campaign had nothing to do with the Christianity of supporters or detractors of anyone. Your attempts to imply that either side was Christian or not Christian is offensive to me.
I laugh a lot. I make fun of a lot of things. I do not make fun of religion. I discuss it. I argue about it, but I never make fun of anyone's faith.

Just because we agree on some things does not mean, in any way, that I will agree with you on everything.
Leave religion out of this discussion. It has no relevance, and you're insulting Christians and Christianity. It's not funny. It's not amusing. I will not lighten up about such things.
