I really, REALLY want to hold onto the house, but it seems that the Senate has decided they are above everybody.

TERM LIMITS!!!!

Honestly, sometimes I think that, other than the those that crave being in the leadership of whatever majority party is in power, most congress criters just want to get re-elected. They have all lost their ideals.

Florida's going blue state. Gallagher knew dirt on Crist that he didn't publicize. The dems have nothing to lose, now do they?

"I think Christ has done an excellent job as AG, too."

I didn't know the Lord was a Florida Attorney General.

I am all for term limits. We enacted them here in Oklahoma and it is the best thing we could have done for our state. I hope it becomes a national trend and eventually goes to the federal level. It is our only hope.

You are correct, no matter the party, they seem to be more concerned with keeping their cushy jobs.

Dominick, I cannot believe how brainwashed Floridians are.

Ouch but the RNC will not select Tampa for the RNC 2008 Convention because either a. they will be embarrassed if Crist shows up; b. Florida will be a blue state w/Davis as Governor.

Media propaganda still works on the masses. Such a pity...

I am afraid that if Florida does elect a Democrat as governor, then the state will go for the Dem. nominee for Pres. I will not deny it, I am worried about holding onto Florida. We should know more after the elections this Nov. My main concern is holding onto Florida for the Pres. election in 08.

Peach, Are you sticking your nose into Florida's business again?

We tried to save the FL GOP from itself and failed. It won't affect me but it will hurt them.

Oh, you have to call in support? You've been caught calling Crist a murderer and nearly half of Florida death cultists and you think that those of us who don't live in the state should just think that kind of post is acceptable?

You're delusional. It's pathetic.

There has been a lot of innuendo posted here about Crist.

In-his-endo... :)

(Who knows or cares about his sex life...)

Only Adam Putnam could save Florida for the Republican Party. Adam would unite the party again. Everyone agrees on Adam Putnam. Unfortunately, governors have four year terms, don't they? 2011 Putnam could save the GOP?

Sometimes, people who point fingers at others have similar situations themselves. Being 50 or older, unmarried, childless and living in a home you don't own isn't all that uncommon. I'm sure there are Freepers who fit that description.

It's amazing that anyone cares.

I have not heard of Putnam...I will check him out. I know it may be hard, but I do hope the Party can unite behind Crist. I know not everyone will be able to and I completely understand that. I respect those who form their own opinions and stick by them even when they are not popular.

What can you tell me about the Dem. nominee. Is he beatable?

"It is called gallows humor which has always been part of Free Republic as long as I can remember. "

It's not gallows humor, floriduh voter. It's ugly feces slinging.

I'd be willing to bet that some of the people posting about Crist being unmarried at 50, childless, and living in a house they don't own might be descriptive of some of the people who were poking at him for it.

That would be hypocrisy, right?

Yes, there are several Freepers who have said they live in a home that was given to them by their mom or what-have-you. I agree, it really shouldn't matter.

Adam Putnam is in Congress. He's a phenom. We need a phenom to unite the Fla GOP. The old alliances are doing more harm than good. I'm an indy now but I'll vote for republicans in the future who are not like cc.

"

Of course it shouldn't, but that was one of the nasty little rumors being spread around this week, in a vain attempt to poison the election.

It was ugly, and it didn't work. In fact, it may have helped Crist get more votes in his win.

Davis isn't beatable. He's pledged to clean up the agencies that are in disarray. That's very appealing to voters.

Sure you will, floriduh. Sure you will. Just remember, you can't vote on national holidays.

I'm reaching out to the RNC even thought I have left them cold. They read FR. Maybe someday, they'll comprehend what they are reading.
