I don't know why you're so upset though. A few posts up you wrote that you found the GOP's action disgusting but you're upset I'm not voting for one GOP guy. I don't get it.You obviously haven't done a helluva lot of research. I Googled Max Linn and found out he's a Reform Party candidate. Reformers only care about one thing, splintering the GOP vote, which the Democrats hope happens because they can't persuade anyone merely on their positions on bread and butter, kitchen table issues.

He says I want to split the vote but he calls the GOP's actions disgusting. There were alot of people who found the GOP's actions disgusting, I among them.
I guess there's no pleasing some people.
If you want to please more people, stop supporting third parties who are only intent on splitting the GOP vote and electing Democrats.

Personally, I was not a fan of either of them. However, I voted for Gallagher even though he had bashed Jeb in the past. Charlie is a McCain Republican which is not a good thing. But he is not a Democrat.I too, did not like either of our choices. Are we hurting so bad as a party that we can't promote a decent candidate?
I voted for Gallagher but will support Crist. Let's pray we haven't flushed our state. I don't truly believe Gallagher would have been much better. Still, Crist doesn't instill a great deal of confidence in me. He's a good orater, better than Gallagher from what I saw.
I just don't want to hear that voice explaining why he's approved a state tax to pay for his education plan or something else ridiculous.
Either way, I suspect either candidate would have required some heavy FReeping for the next few years. I'd better go out and stock up on poster board.
Regardless of who won, aint no way I'll sit back and let a dim foul our state.

I won't vote third party because it hands the Democrats a vote. Third party candidates can't and don't win.

Me neither. Generals are the easiest. Hit the R button and go. 10 seconds.

I use that method to make my initial "vote for", "against" list. Then I research...If I am ambivalent on a particular race I just vote straight ticket on that race.
Social conservatives have been trying to take the reins of conservatism from the "small, limited government" conservatives...This may cause a split that will only leave the religious right in worse shape politically. It has all ready damaged the Party...And if this thread is any indication of the "life at any cost" bunch, they have not yet extracted their pound of flesh for their imagined grievances.

After these last few years, I wouldn't pull the lever for a Democrat if it was somebody in my own family.

This only shows that name recognition matters and Crist was able to use it.
Also the emotional issue of Children, and Crist being tough on paedophiles etc made sure that he enough support in the primary.
Thats why you see Libs use children all the time, like ' Do it for the children' ,' mother and children affected by this policy', it is a vote winner.
Crist win means a set back for the conservative movement in Florida.

I've done research on him. He's a Libertarian who got the Reform nomination so he could be on the ballot. He's not Perot. Buchanan's Reform Party was different than Perot's, which was different from what that jerk Trump wanted to do with that party.Perot is not a Reform Party member anymore. He divorced himself from the party, and endorsed GWB, the moment PJB ran as a Reformer in 2000.

The "trees" in our "forest" don't seem to understand that, despite how many times they say it, it is THEY who need us, not the other way around.

No kidding! And the Daytime Brigade isn't even here posting!
