According to Fox 35, Charlie Crist is the winner of the Republican Primary for Governor.
Time for us to get behind him.

We hear you, Sun!
Well, you know, the poor senile dears - they're very easily manipulated. AARP has subliminal messages places in all television programming to ensure that they vote in blocks, and don't wander off the reservation. I'm sure my mother has been lying to me all these years when she says she's never voted for a democrat. Poor thing - being elderly and brainwashed as she is, she probably just thinks she's conservative. When she gets into the voting booth, the liberal brainwashing and subliminal conditioning take over, and she just can't help herself - she checks the box for voting a straight democrat ticket. It's very tragic.
Donald Trump hosted a fund raiser for Crist.

Floridians, hang on to your wallet AND your PROPERTY, as in eminent domain.
Charlie Crist owes Donald Trump, BIG TIME.
Did you know that Donald Trump tried to take a woman's property away from her in NJ for one of his casino's, after she lived there for 30 years?
Yes, it just so happens that the senior community he lives in, is full of very active seniors...the uncle served in WW11 in the navy, aboard ships in the Pacific...goes every year to meet up with his old Navy buddies at their reunions...just a few months ago, the uncle took a trip to Egypt...returned from Colorado a month ago, visiting with friends..in a week or so, he is off to Las Vegas...he is in his 80s, looks like he is in his early 60s, is remarkably healthy, and has a very active interest in life, and in all that contributes to his life...
Anyone who thinks they can pull the wool over his eyes, will be in for a great big surprise...his mind is sharp, and he knows what he is doing...he is the one who informed me that Gallagher was unsuccessful, three times before trying this 4th time to become governor...he knows exactly what is going on...
What age is the cutoff to make one a "senior", to you?
If you are going to say 50 or even 60, then you're going to be insulting a whole LOT of FR's most senior, knowledgeable, and politically active people.
LOL..send my best wishes to your mom...she sounds like shes one senior who knows exactly what she is doing, and no one does her thinking for her...
And this is the way it is with millions and millions of seniors...
I figured he was part of the "Greatest generation" --- a WWII Veteran.
Punks here, slamming these fine people.
"What age is the cutoff to make one a "senior", to you?"
I'm thinking of the women (middle 70's to 80's) in my aunt's bridge club, who are EXPERTS at bridge, and people that play bridge have a high I.Q. In fact, experts in chess, sometimes get tired of chess, and change over to bridge.
Anyway, these very nice, and very intelligent ladies get most of their news from tv and liberal newspapers, and they vote liberal - even Hillary and Bill Clinton.
The Dems and liberal MSM play up to them. I think most of us have noticed that.
Who's "us"? Are you speaking for a group?
Bridge, even when played by "experts", doesn't require a high IQ. Who told you that canard, your idiot LIBERAL aunt? ;^)
Yep...my husbands dad, all his uncles, my dad and all of my uncles fought in WW11...some are still here, some have died...both my husband and I were lucky, all of our relatives who served in WW11 survived...that is why my husband was sending his uncle these DVDS..they are DVDs, showing basic training and other training of sailors, preparing them for war...my husband watched them last nite, to make sure that they were all ok, not damaged in the mail, as actually sometimes does happen...my husband got quite a kick out of those, as my husband himself is retired military(tho, he is Army)...so the time frame for these DVDs is exactly right for his uncle...right time frame, right branch of the military...
My own dad passed on several years ago, while a senior...a sharper mind, a more inquiring mind, I have rarely seen..he knew exactly what was going on at all times...
I cannot stand it, when people slam seniors, just for being seniors...assuming that somehow their have become addled, assuming that they are feeble, assuming that they no longer take an active interest in life, and in politics...these assumptions are as far from the truth as they can be...
My uncle, a vet, just died on Friday.
God bless our vets! There is a special place in heaven for them.
Indeed there is...we lose more and more vets each and every day....all of my uncles are now gone, my dad is gone, my husbands uncles are gone, his dad is gone, and just this one uncle remains...but hes a pistol, we hope he reaches 100...hes so full of life...we were worried about him after his wife died about 2 yrs ago, he took it so hard...they had no children, so the aunt and uncle spent their life wrapped up with each other...so when she died, we were really worried...he did go through a really bad time, but now he is fine...
My husband, with his father gone, and his uncle, with no children, have a very special bond...my husband and his uncle regard themselves now, as father and son...and we take a very active interest in all that interests him..so with him being in Clearwater, we got some really interesting first hand reports of what was going on down there, with Terri Shiavo...
And of course, we always have to warn the uncle not to wind up in a nursing home down in Clearwater, because there are roving bands of crazed doctors in those nursing homes ready to kill them...that always gives the uncle a chuckle...all the fear mongering on these threads is good for a laugh, anyway...
"..the 93-year-old conservative Linkletter touted the importance of Social Security reform with personal retirement accounts and went on to call the AARP, which opposes President Bush's reform plan, "the largest liberal lobbying group in Washington."

AARP, a very liberal organization in so many ways, also does it's part in brainwashing elderly folks.
"What's the difference between a civil union and a same sex marriage?" Gallagher asked Crist.
GOOD QUESTION.
You all just HAD to see this one; I didn't want you to miss it. :-)
Why am I not surpised? Dat dare is sum dumb logic.
My father in law died 3 months ago. And right after that my mother was diagnosed with esophageal (sp) cancer. They operated, took out her esophagus and took her stomach and made a new esophagus. She's doing pretty well.......but has lost over 50 pounds because food goes right "through". She HAS to go see a nutritionist SOON or she will lose too much weight. I am trying not to panic.
This has been a lousy year for our family with sickness and death. Praise the Lord for the surgeons, doctors, nurses and HOSPICE that have helped our whole family through.
Hospice, for my father in law and my uncle were so wonderful. I can't put into words how caring and helpful they were. And just "how" they died doesn't concern me....they were in pain and suffering and HOSPICE came in put them OUT OF PAIN.
Sorry for the rant....this is "raw" to me right now. I would never want to be a Terri Shiavo. I can understand parents not wanting to let go of their baby. But after my experience, seeing the downhill battle..the loss of all cognisance, ...the spirit gone.... it's time to let go. And as Christians, that shouldn't be such a scary proposition.
Be well friend.
