Children are very durable. Except for the recent DWI here on Long Island where the guy took off a flower girl's head :( The family were all in the limo going home from a wedding. It made me depressed actually.
Kids are fairly durable, but like I said, at 19 I had a broken neck from a drunk driver and it did do damage to my body and life at that time.
Mel is lucky he didn't hurt someone, but he should NEVER be on the road drunk.
