Being drunk is never an excuse for bad and dangerous behavior. Go ask all the people who ride buses everyday because their licenses were taken away because they were driving drunk. I'm so surprised people at FR would use the "HE WAS DRUNK" defense to justify this outrageous display of anti-semitism.
But on another note that people here might understand is now ALL the people who said Gibson made THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST to push his anti-semetic feelings are having one big laugh now...because THEY WERE RIGHT. And I was one Jew who defended him. But no more.

And yet, despite whatever Mel's feelings about the Jews may or may not be, there was nothing, nothing antisemitic in the film. They were true to the Gospels, and Jews who find something antisemitic in the Gospels are no better than Christians who do. Bigots, both of them.
