Nothing 'namby-pamby' in Hayworth's tome
By Carrie Sheffield

In his new book, Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-Ariz.) says that White House adviser Karl Rove accused him of racism when the congressman expressed his disdain for a proposed U.S.-Mexico agreement that would prevent double-taxing citizens from both countries for Social Security.

“The president thanked me for being candid and said he would consider my views,” Hayworth writes. “But Rove became somewhat exasperated and spluttered, ‘You just don’t want to help brown people, do you?’”

Wasn't Hayworth the one that endorsed McCain in 2000 over GW?
