It looks like Thread III may hit 10,000 posts before the night is out! I'm gonna have to find another prize :)

I liked 'It's hip to be sqaure'! :) One of my favorites too :) I like almost all the songs on the "Fore" album except "Simple As That"--yuck.

Netizen, thanks for the Sir Bitter links! I'm hopelessly devoted to his recaps! LOL!

Darn kids keep needing stuff so we have to pause the Tivo!! Crap!
I think we may be living the same life! A couple of months ago, dh and I were slogging through 'Return of the King', trying to watch it only after the kids were in bed. After about four days we said, 'the heck with it' and started it from where we had left off. Our kids (just turned 7 and 4) still talk about the night we "made" them watch it. They tell me they have bad dreams about Gollum. Who doesn't? LOL

Thanks SJ for all your work. I've followed all three threads faithfully. This is the first season of AI I've followed. It was great to 'share' the show with so many witty folks. Freepers are the best.
SOUL PATROL!!!!!

Those Nobel Prizes are about as valuable as those rub-on tattoos you find in a box of Cracker Jacks. They don't put anything good like that in them anymore! Now its just a piece of paper that you fold one way to get one picture and another way to get a different picture. wooopie!
But the Nobel has become useless.

Who put Prince in the final program, and how much money changed hands to give him a platform on Idol.

Lowlight: Meat Loaf. He wouldnt have made it out of Idols Hollywood round with the performance he gave on Wednesday. Plus, the pairing with Katharine McPhee singing Its All Coming Back to Me Now was just plain wrong on every level. He looked and sounded like a dirty old man singing to the pretty young girl with whom he has no shot.

Netizen, thanks for the Sir Bitter links! I'm hopelessly devoted to his recaps! LOL! You're most welcome. He's a riot, isn't he? Seems weird that we won't have all this next week. :(

Wish I had cable. I would have loved to see Glenn Beck's performance. Can he sing? I can hope for a radio reprise tomorrow morning.

I was wondering, do you think that was really Rhonetta? Her face didn't look like her to me.

I only caught the last hour and was sorry I missed the good parts - Chris singing with Live, Carrie Underwood - and instead got the crap like Prince, Brokeback Mountain parody which was clever but who cares - Dionne Warwick that was nice but again, I'd rather see more of the Idols. Guess we have to buy tickets to the tour to see more of them.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Taylor win. Somehow I thought the show was rigged and that a unique talent like Taylor couldn't win.

The very best part after Taylor winning was the Clay kid.

Just for the record, I voted ten times for Taylor last nite.

I think Taylor's best performance of the season was This Gun For Hire. So hot it sizzled.
