I absolutely agree with everything you said....and you're right - 99% of us will never meet but I feel like there are so many on this thread that I know and really like....can't wait till next season...

Nope, just absolutely devastated that Kat didn't win. Such an amazing, talented woman. Oh well, I think she'll be the bigger star in the long run. That's all one can hope for I guess.

FWIW, I thought Lisa (Tucker?) did a great job singing "Alfie" tonight.
The only duet that worked was Paris and Al Jarreau.
Prince, Paris , Alfie, and of course Taylor winning!!!!!!!! were the high points (for me.) As always.....jmho. :)

Maybe she will have a good career...perhaps on Broadway...but NOT as an American POP star Idol...
She was too plastic, IMHO..and FGS, she forgot words to songs at least twice!!! not good enough.

The whole show was awesome - good clean cheesy fun (except for Blige and Braxton acting the fool with E and Tay.)
The Taylor-made ending was incredible - exciting and poignant.
