My husband just told me that Seattle does care about American Idol.
He wore his Elliott shirt today and made sure to go out a lot. plus put a sign on his car. He said he got all thumbs up and honks.
Don't underestimate people, especially women who dislike cheapness. :-)
On a side note, my 15 yo son said Kat is already good at standing on street corners.

GREAT REVIEW...I agreed with everything you said...except I would be a little harder on McPhee...
I haven't really heard her sing a song where she didn't forget the words, she got behind/ahead of the music...or screeched during parts.
Personally, I think the worst performances the last few weeks have been by Simon...he has been way to obvious in his desire for Kat to win...after Kellie got voted off.

I found the Clive thing in an Article written for ET.
On the AI board there is a lot of chatter about people having trouble with the phone lines and getting the wrong contestant's voice for who they are voting for. The Chris fans are laughing because so many on the message board were calling them liars last week.

I voted five times for Elliot and five times for Taylor. I'd take either one as my Idol...as long as that screecher Kat doesn't last another week. When she mewled her way thru "Over the Rainbow" and then Simon slobbered all over her...I was shaking my head, like, are we living on different planets? Are you hearing the same thing I'm hearing?

Okay...maybe Fantasia...but I have to admit that I didn't watch AI the year Fantasia won...so I couldn't compare the two.
I am just glad to hear that Chris is getting offers...I can't wait to get a CD with him singing...but, I would rather go to see him sing...I like his stage presence.
To: Jrabbit
taylor seemed to have toned it down a bit with the arm-flailing. Maybe they told him it was hurting his vote total?

Elliot has the best voice and consistently delivers the best performances.
I hope he's in the final two, but you never know. The Powers That Be seem to want Kat to win, maybe they think she'll sell more records for them.

Taylor is the one for me!! Great voice and I love his dorky moves. LOL
I told hubby that I thought Elliott was such a nice boy and I could not see him be mean or nasty to anyone. He said he thought Kat could be nasty ....... and he'd let her.
sighhhhhhhhhhhh what a dirty old man. ;)
To: GRRRRR
I thought Taylor was esp. sexy tonite singing "This Gun For Hire". Excellent choice of song, Clive!
