HI Wolfstar. I just finished setting my VCR for tonight's show and House. We have a church event, so I won't get to come to the thread tonight. I wish i had Tivo, because I also wanted to tape Glenn Beck's show. Oh well, I hope tonight's show is good. Ya'll have fun! :)

He has a bit of the best of Bill Clinton in him: Southern charm, sense of humor, and he's the guy most likely to garner a crowd while he rolls up his sleeves for the chicken and grits at the table.Gawd! What a horrible thing to say about Taylor!

Well, it takes a lot of work to look as clown-tastic as Pelosi. LOL
But, I don't think she looks nice. Her skin is stretched so much that it looks unnatural. She has that sort of botox mask expression. That's probably a picture of her laughing really hard. ;-)

There were the standard 365 days in 1979, and I just know there had to have been a better song choice than the one Chris picked. Weeks of being subjected to songs from Styx and Creed and now Shinedown have worn me down, and I feel trapped on the road to rock hell complete with burning flames onstage.I have to agree about the Flames of Hell in the background. Every time I see them, I am reminded of the 100 young rock fans who perished in that horrible club fire in Rhode Island.

You're making my point! When Randy calls some guy a "dawg," he's paying him a compliment. Women don't use the word that way. Big Mama was calling some guy a freeloading gigolo as an insult.

I wish I had TivoHi Emily. Where I live, Time-Warner is the cable TV monopoly. I've been using their DVR (which is like Tivo) for the past two years. It's terrific and a great convenience.

Taylor has the greatest opportunity to become a multiplatinum seller out of all of the four. He is an entity on to himself. Chris cannot be promoted as an artist because he isn't. He belongs fronting a rock band who would have to agree that it will be all about him and that's sort of hard to pull off.
Elliott has a promising career as a solo artist ahead of him in a nice genre that will allow him to be a vovalist.
Kat doesn't have the goods to do albums that will be super sellers. I have seen her fall down on too many songs to be convinced that she can handle too wide a range of music.

In the "how soon we forget" department:
Ayla Brown, a former American Idol contestant, sings the National Anthem prior to the start of a game between the Boston Red and Toronto Blue Jays at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts May 3, 2006.

Seacrest received an award recently for being the hottest TV host. (With box office plunging, I guess Hollyweird types have little to do except attend more and more awards ceremonies.)

I thought Ayla was better than Kat. I was surprised when she was one of the first to go (of the twelve).
