Not true.
Choosing a time for victory is not the same as doing wrong.
You fight your battles at a time that best insures a positive outcome.
Under your logic, we would be bombing Iraq this afternoon. Why aren't we?
Because the time isn't right.
Get it?
And how many more illegal immigrants would you like to allow into the country before it is time to do that? Or do you define "positive outcome" as the loss of the southwestern United States?
You must not be a Patton fan. Anyway, with respect, I don't think you are advocating doing wrong. I've been around here long enough to know that much. But, I think on this issue you ARE wrong.
You suggest we delay victory (or that it will be delayed) on this issue and that we should sacrifice victory on this issue in the effort to secure victory for the RHINOs who are allowing the problem to grow.
You want us to "swallow" the blue pill.
BTW, under my logic we would have bombed Iraq, captured and executed Saddam, declared victory and gotten the hell out of there...:-)
If not us, who? If not now, when? If Bush's scamnesty goes through, we are no longer a sovereign nation. There will be no ground left on which to stand and fight. We will have lost the war for fear of fighting the battle.
