He seems to think that if only scientists would understand the pernicious things evolution (in his eyes) leads to, we'd all give it up unless we, ourselves wanted these nasty consequences.

If that is DaveLoneRanger's intent, then I'll just add child abuse to the list of evil things creationists erroneously think evolution leads to, like atheism, Communism, Nazism,.... etc. It's getting to be a long list.

Before anyone misunderstands my intent in #558, I don't think atheism is evil. Just that creationists think it is.

Sound like simple logic to me:

1. These bad (oops; sorry. This would imply an Absolute Standard) things exist in the world...
2. We have evolved...
3. therefore, Evolution CAUSES these bad things.
