If they did, they would already know that Congress couldn't stop this deal if they wanted to, and if they tried and got past Bush's veto, the Supreme Court would through it out in the blink of an eye.How do you figure that? The congress could just disolve CIFUS tomorrow through legislation if it wanted to and if it had enough votes to override the veto it would be gone.

This deal has gone through. Bush has approved it. Congress has no standing to overturn it. None whatsoever. Neither do the State and Local governments. One foreign company just agreed to purchase another. Only a national security argument can preclude the deal. Guess who has single authoritative power in that argument? The President. It is OVER. You folks can bitch and moan until doomsday, but you cant do a damn thing about it. Those who try, will run smack into the Supremes, who don't take kindly to bigoted arguments.

I believe you are on the right track..this "approving body" is Extra-Constitutional...spawned from an "Executive Order"..remember Clinton..BIG Executive Order fan.." Kinda neat... stroke of the pen legislation "
The question is not can Congress challenge but will they ?
