This deal has gone through. Bush has approved it. Congress has no standing to overturn it. None whatsoever. Neither do the State and Local governments. One foreign company just agreed to purchase another. Only a national security argument can preclude the deal. Guess who has single authoritative power in that argument? The President. It is OVER. You folks can bitch and moan until doomsday, but you cant do a damn thing about it. Those who try, will run smack into the Supremes, who don't take kindly to bigoted arguments.

Maybe you should clue GWB in on this reasoning and tell him that he is wasting his time as he is planning to veto any legislation by congress in the area. Why would he threaten to veto an item of legislation that is moot?
