I would bet that more than half the members here have no idea what is in the Constitution. If they did, they would already know that Congress couldn't stop this deal if they wanted to, and if they tried and got past Bush's veto, the Supreme Court would through it out in the blink of an eye.

The governmental body that "slam dunked" the approval of this transaction was created by Executive Order...not the Constitution.

How do you figure that? The congress could just disolve CIFUS tomorrow through legislation if it wanted to and if it had enough votes to override the veto it would be gone.
