Tensions between Tbilisi and Moscow heightened today with Georgia threatening to deport three Russian peacekeepers arrested overnight in its separatist republic of South Ossetia. Officials in Moscow blame Tbilisi for allegedly exacerbating the situation in the conflict zone as Georgian lawmakers keep pressing for all Russian troops stationed in South Ossetia to be withdrawn.

The Georgians won't stop until they have war. Why do they think that the Ossessians or Abkhazians, whom they tried to exterminate, would ever want to return to the Georgian tender "mercies". Especially when Georgian polls show that 72% want the country to get rid of all minorities.

What he didn't explain was how if it's wrong to partition and divide Serbia, it's right to carry out the same crime against Georgia and Moldavia.

The Chechens support the Abkhazians and find safe haven there. Russia supports its own enemies in Abkhazia.
Another one of your typical lies. The Chechens, hired by the Georgians, in 2001, to start a war and a pretext for the Georgians to re-invade, opened their offensive by massacring 14 Armenian women and children in a village in central Abkhazia. They were cornered in a box canyon and pounded by Russian bombers while the Abkhaz and Armenians (a battalion of Armenians serve in the Abkhaz armed forces) surrounded and destroyed the Chechens fast enough that Georgia didn't get a chance to launch a war. Unfortunately, the Chechens were able to shoot down a UN Hip that was sent in by UNOMIG to investigate, killing all 11 personnel, to include the Georgian interpretor, aboard.
Typically you are either 1. a liar and ignore these facts or 2. ignorant of them but make slanderous comments anyways to push your agenda. Which is it?
Sorry, that tactic isn't going to work either, nice try. I don't demonize the whole Georgian race, 1 million of whom now live and hold Russian citizenship anyways. Oh and get it right, it was 14.

jb6 makes the same false claim of genocide and "extermination" against the Christian Georgian as were made against the Christian Serbs. In fact it is Abkhazia and Ossetia which have been ethically cleansed of Georgians just as it is really Kosovo which has been ethnically cleansed of Serbs.
