I agree w/Dave. His apt. with the three of them. Natalee never made it to the beach. He lost his sneaker when they were getting rid of her body when the gardener saw them. Whatever happening it happened quick - she put up a fight immediately. She could have been slipping in and out because of a blow to her head in the struggle with violent joran.
It doesn't say which MSNBC program Beth was on when they say she said this.

Beth summed it up right there. This is STILL going on. How many times have we been told that "fireworks" are coming at the "end of this month" or they have a NEW very credible lead and go and poke sticks in the sand. However, when VALID equipment that would work in looking way way down in that sand, the answer is NO WAY is Equusearch getting clearance to do that. Lose focus? Cripes, the only focus this Island and it's crackjack box cops have had is to LOSE focus on the REAL suspects. I venture to say that if a Van der Sloot hadn't been involved there would likely have been solved.

how does the taking of natalee to see his home fit in with his having claimed to be a college student also visiting from the Netherlands and also staying at a hotel? what happened to that story?

I don't recall Joran saying he is never without a condom. I remember him saying he wouldn't have sex without a condom.
Here's how I see the going to his house element:
The timeline he gave through various questions by Greta leaves a gap. The idea that the missing time would have them sitting in the car in front of his house for close to one hour, maybe a little less seems odd to me. I think he has to put the car in front of his house because they were at his apartment. He did not give the amount of time they were there. When Greta is asking him about going into the house Joran very cleverly begins to talk about sharks, hitler, his ancestory and police reports. This sounds more like deflective chatter. Greta never asks him how long they were there.
Here's why I think he puts himself there but doesn't specify how long. They WERE there, but were inside. Not specifying a time allows for the possiblity that the car was seen parked outside the home. This is the missing hour. Since he was not forthcoming about how long they were there and he did not specify what time they got to the beach he can make the 'just parked in front of the house, but didn't get out' story fit any time someone could say the car was there.
Also, about the sharks...When we were teenagers (like...in the last year or two, haha) we used to go up to a large park where there was a lake. The make-out place. We used to say we were going to watch the submarine races. Wonder if on Aruba they go to 'see the sharks'?

Just another example of that is, you know, that's a strange story. That makes absolutely no sense. Why would you say something like that if it's not true? But there's actually police reports of one of her friends that says she told her the same thing.
VAN SUSTEREN: Now, the whole time you're in the car driving from Carlos 'nCharlie's, stopping for a short time at your house and talking to Natalee, did Deepak and Satish join in the conversation? Are they talking?
VAN DER SLOOT: Not really. We had music on. There was one remark she did make like she told me, she asked me if they were my slaves because they were driving around but Deepak and Satish never ended up hearing that. I told them that afterwards. So, yes, she said in Alabama we consider black people slaves.

On 8-17 J. MANSUR said that during his 8-15 testimony and followup questions, the gardener witness said he recognized Principal Suspect J. SLOOT and Current Suspect D. KALPOE sitting in the parked car at 2:30 AM on 5-30, but he did not identify Current Suspect S. KALPOE. MANSUR said it was because the gardener has always stated that Current Suspect S. KALPOE quickly ducked down out of sight. (besides that, all the Suspects admit that the KALPOE brothers were always together until they returned to their home)
On 8-23 J. MANSUR said that the jogger witness saw the Suspects KALPOE’s car in the same location on the dirt road near the “Aruba Racquet Club” that the gardener also saw the car.
Huge celebrations from the twisted sickos all over the Hate-Beth, NH's fault she disappeared forums because Beth has a broken leg. All manner of theories about how this could have happened from not true, just for sympathy, Jug did it, Beth kicked her big screen TV because Greta, Joran and the Pineapple Taco are kicking her butt, to just getting what she deserves. Lovely people who wish to see further painful punishment delivered to someone who is suffering the loss of a child. The only difference I see in these people and someone who commits a terrible crime is they don't have the guts to do it, but enjoy celebrating that someone else has. Vicarious psychopaths.
Beth has a broken leg? When did that happen? I have not heard that yet. (Work is driving me crazy. Don't they know how busy I am in this site? Sheesh!)
