I listened to two "brilliant" evolutionists who agreed hands down with Darwin....The problem with what I heard is it reduces man to "just a series of genetic events" and disconnects man from the wonders of the universe at large.

If it's so ignorant, why is it proven that such can and does happen in the matter of Mt. St. Helens and the Spirit lake region. Oh, forgot science was about examining natural processes evidently..
The huge canyons, some hundreds of feet deep and in solid rock, around Mount Saint Helens were made in a matter of days. While probably not in half an hour, it is possible for the Grand Canyon to be formed fast.
P.S. It's not smart to publicly call evolution stupid if you're trying to convince people of creationism.
