Given that there is no evidence that atomic decay has been anymore constant than the speed of light or 14C accumulation, I've no problem with that
time frame. Science provides no reason to question my belief.
And given the content of your question, you seem to be less upset by facts and more by the story of the Bible. If that is the case, it is your right to question, doubt and even reject it.
