If it's time to move on why are you on this thread? Since Natalee has not been found nor the perps prosecuted, to the rest of us, it is NOT time to move on. Interesting that one of you would show up now!!
Bye bye!!
HAPY NEW YEAR TO ALL HERE as well Palladin. I know I'm a few days late as family functions took up several days. But actually, on New Years Eve itself, I think I was asleep by about 11pm. I watched the ball come down in New York as that was only 9pm in B.C. but after that I thought I'd watch a movie - didn't make it LOL!!
I really pray for a breakthrough for Beth and family this year!! The treatment of that poor mother has been shameful!! May God bring her an answer soon!!
Hey Malichi!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Evening CO,

According to Otmar Oduber
ATAs duty is to publish the tourism numbers
It has been more than 6 months since theyve done this

ORANJESTAD(AAN): Otmar Oduber, from the AVP faction, signaled during a press conference of the green party, that it is very troublesome and reproachable that the Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA), for the last 6 months hasnt published tourism numbers. snip
The parliamentarian also said that Aruba received 42,000 less tourists from cruise ships in 2005, compared with 2004.
If one multiplies this by the average amount of money that they would have spent in Aruba, which is $112, Aruba potentially lost more than 4 million dollars.
Oduber also indicated that there were 4.2% less travelers who passed through our airport, which could turn into 10%, which is an alarming effect that cannot continue.

ORANJESTAD (AAN) Arubas pillar of the economy, tourism, is not well placed and as arent its foundation as was the case 7 years ago, because in the last 4 years tourism has been going backwards.
Not even when the MEP government tried to let people believe that tourism has increased, the reality shows that hotels are not filling up anymore as they once were, and worse now in this season in which its increasingly clear that things do not bode well.
Cruise ship tourism has decreased and the quantity of passengers who have transited [through Aruba] has also dropped, while hotels which were once at 100% occupancy in high season, now painfully reach a 60% rate of occupancy.
what if freedumb2003 is actually ted kennedy drunk on martinis and up to old school pranks? one thing is for certain; they both believe in leaving a dead girl behind
Good letter Shebacal!! Succinct and to the point!!
LOL!!!
You nailed that one!!
Good evening girlfriend!! Did you stand on the streets of New York and watch the ball come down?? or did you stay home like me?
It's starting to snow. I gotta get out of this office and get home. It's dark already anyway and I hate driving in the blinding snow. BBL CO
Went to 8p to midnight service and then home - just like you! My son came in from Chicago w/a few 'never been to NY' friends and did the NYC scene.
Happy New Year, Co.
Did anyone see the National Enquirer headline about Natalee being pregnant? I've been away for a while and saw it in the checkout line on the way home from work today. Anything to sell newsprint...
Howdy Do MAWG.

Doin fine and feelin ornery, NS. Good to hear from you and Happy New Year to all my friends on this thread.
I saw it but didn't bother to even pick up the paper to read the article in the line up!! Pure trash!
Oh I'll bet that was a good service. Was it at David W's church????
Not much that Aruba does makes sense to me. But, the judge seems to be a hard-hearted guy. It looks like some other location could have been worked out for this 20 year old business, though.
"The Judge said that Mc Donald's was told in advance that the contract will no longer be prolonged and was given enough time to look for another location."
