From her body? Somebody should be checking out the freezers on Aruba that PVDS has access to. Time for Beth to ask the FBI to demand to see this evidence and for Aruba to submit it for testing to them. Time to get both Senators and the Governor of Ala to put pressure on the FBI or on whoever in our gov't should make this kind of request.
Word is that the abandoned house where her body was found was occupied by Katrina refugges from New Orleans.
Hmmmm...would they be smart enough to stage a suicide?
What suicide? The woman was raped and murdered.
Oh, you must have just heard an update. Sorry--my news was old. I read that it was asuspected suicide because she was found shot in an abandoned building with the gun by her side.
Do you have a link to the latest?
No link palladin. I live here in Houston. It was reported that her keys were found in her office door. Also that she had a 2 year old son and that Katrina people were living in that abandoned house. I heard that it was ruled a homicde. I have not heard about the gun.
The Houston Chronicle had this story at 9 p.m. --
Police: chiropractor's death 'apparent suicide'
Police call death 'apparent suicide'
By PAIGE HEWITT
Houston Chronicle
While police today called chiropractor Melinda Superville's death an "apparent suicide," the medical examiner's office has not yet ruled on how she died.
There was a "large quantity" and an assortment of pills found at the scene, and physical evidence indicated that Superville had ingested a large quantity of pills, Houston police Sgt. Nate McDuell said Saturday.
A pistol was also found at the scene, but it had not been fired, police reported Friday.
McDuell did not know whether a suicide note was found.
The Harris County Medical Examiner's office said late today that Monday would be the earliest it would release a cause of death.
Superville's body was discovered in a vacant house in northwest Houston Friday afternoon, a week after she was last seen a few blocks away at the chiropractor business she owned with her husband, Tom, also a chiropractor.
Superville, who was 43 and a graduate of Northbrook High in Spring Branch, disappeared Dec. 2.

Confusing, to say the least. How can the police announce "suicide" before the ME has even declared a cause of death?
Sheba, their concerns couldn't be much more clear than that little missive states.
That's odd. The first officer on the scene said she had a wound to the side of her head. Antoine and Hammerly is in a bad part of Spring Branch, very high crime around there. I stopped reading the Chronicle 3 years ago. My blood pressure couldn't take it anymore. Was gittin as bad as the N.Y. Times IMO. Why would a suicide leave her keys in her office door, walk 200 yards to an abandoned house known to be inhabitied by low lifes and kill herself leaving a 2 year old son at Christmas? Doesn't make sense to me. Strange.
Dec 10, 2005 on "The Lineup";
Megyn Kendall interviewed Beth Twitty. Beth said she had returned tonight from the search for Tara Grinstead. She said she has learned a lot, that it was helpful and she is glad she went.
Megyn asked Beth about the differences in law enforcement cooperation and resources available between her experience in Aruba and the search in Georgia for Tara. Beth the differences are tremendous. That Natalee was robbed of an investigation in Aruba.
Megyn asked Beth to respond to DomPIG's accusation that she and family had impeded the investigation. Beth said, "Without the family, we think that there would not have been an investigation."
The whole story does not make sense to me. This beautiful young woman had everything to live for. She was very devoted to her 2-yr-old boy.
The husband took a polygraph today, administered by a private polygrapher. His statements so far don't add up.
OTOH, a druggie could have grabbed her from the office if she walked in on him stealing meds there. Do chiropractors dispense pain meds?
I just hope it is not another botched investigation.
(Apologies to all the Natalee case watchers for breaking in here with news on another case. Please carry on your discussion).
The Aruban government wants to paste a zipper over everyone's mouth in Aruba. Only the selected, vetted, spokespersons are to speak in the future.
Tell the big lie long enough "that Aruba is doing everything it can to solve the disappearance of Natalee" and Aruba thinks the whole world will swallow that bitter pill.
Yes that's very clear. Their latest lies however are really whoppers!! Aruba is making Beth's case all by itself.
There is something all of us can do. According to a friend of mine, who works on the Hill, Senator Santorum's staff has begun putting together a bill called "Natalee's Law" that would make it easier for the U.S. to intervene and extradite in foreign cases in which American citizens were the victims. Right now, Santorum is wavering about whether to introduce the bill. Call Senator Santorum's office and tell him you want Natalee's Law to hit the Senate floor as soon as possible. It is especially helpful for you to do this if you live in Pennsylvania.
Thank you, DougJ.
Hey, y'all. Ping to # 1,815.
Would it apply also to Natalee? Thank God I don't need a bill to boycott.
Unbelievable -- how delusional can they be to think anyone would fall for this.
Thanks for the ping!
"Would it apply also to Natalee?"
I have no idea, but I'm guessing not. That might be "ex post facto" or something like that. But I really don't know.
I have no details of any kind about the proposed bill, just a tip from a friend that some sort of bill had been drawn up by Santorum's office to deal with this kind of situation. My friend isn't on Santorum's staff, so bear in mind what I'm passing is on is third or fourth hand information. Still, I think that if you live in Pennsylvania, it may be worth following up on this.
