I got three strange ones last week that turned out to be from some jerk in Bulgaria. They were routed through three different corporate e-mail addresses.
Two in the US. One in Mexico.

I seem to recall servers in Denmark where one could anonymously send email and files. Its been years since I've read about it and at the time it was concerning how porn was routed worldwide. I suppose terrorists could do the same thing so possibly law enforcement has a better handle on these "hard to trace" transmission sites.
Interpol, or some entity similar, are you still out there?! Hope so. If international law doesn't earnestly investigate for these sites, they better "git-r-done!"
