ARUBA – Joran van der Sloot’s lawyers are not pleased with the way the Public Prosecutor (OM) informs them; reason for another appeal case yesterday afternoon in the case of the missing Natalee Holloway. The lawyers are demanding access to all the files, inclusive the video-recordings of the interrogations.
The examining magistrate dismissed their demand in a criminal proceeding last week. According to Joran’s lawyer, the OM does not hand over the case files complete and timely to the defense. He cannot positively say how complete their files are, because they do not know what the files are that the OM has. In addition to timely and complete handing over of the files, the lawyers also want a copy of all the video-recordings of the interrogation of his client. The judge will give verdict this coming Monday.
