Profile of Natalee Holloway

Missing: Natalee Holloway participated in a trip with 125 seniors from Mountain Brook High School to Aruba in the Caribbean. In the early morning hours on May 30, 2005 Natalee was seen leaving a nightclub and getting into a vehicle. She failed to turn up Monday morning for her return flight home and she has not been seen since. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.

Profile: Natalee Holloway was born on October 21, 1986 to Beth and Dave Holloway. She grew up in the close-knit community of Mountain Brook, a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama. She was very popular and respected by her classmates and had a reputation among peers at being very intelligent and focused on her future. She lived up to her reputation, graduating as an honors student from the Mountain Brook High School.

Extracurricular Activities: During Natalle's high school years she participated several extracurricular activities including: The American Field Service - A club which interacts with the foreign exchange students. Dorians Dance Team Future Business Leaders of America Mu Alpha Theta - Math honor society Natural Helpers - A peer based emotional support group. Future Goals: Natalee received a full scholarship to the University of Alabama. She planned to major in Pre-Med, in order to pursue her goal of being a pediatrician.

Yes, I think the possibility of bar-tender involvement can not be overlooked even though the post was a humorous one.

Lets face it. In this day and age, alot of girls are simply too smart to accept a drink directly from a guy or to ever pickup a drink they have once put down. Many drink from bottles rather have a mixed drink. Only a few, however, insist that the bartender do his mixing above bar level. (I've even gotten weird looks from bartenders I've spoken to about this, but I don't let them get away with a 'low mix').

The one thing that a regular with alot of money to spread around may have going for him is that the bartender can spike a drink and have a prearranged code indicating which drink is which. C&Cs probably serves stiff drinks anyway, but many bars have codes arranged between the bartender and the waitress to indicate which drinks are for the females. Females get their drinks strong, particularly in bars catering to the younger set. (Just watch how a male and female can order the same drink, but one will arive with an extra swizzle stick or something).

The trouble is that there does not seem to be a long list of females coming forward with complaints of date rape by Joran or anyone else there. Nor is there any long list of missing blondes in Aruba. Did something go wrong with his first attempt at GHB? Mistaken dosage? We may never know.

I doubt they will find any corpse and its too late now to detect GHB anyway. She may have mistakenly thought she was entering a taxi or she may have been just about to start feeling the effects of a date-rape drug of some sort.

I never noticed that before! It sounds probable, though.

There are supposedly three women who have testified that they were sexually assaulted on Aruba. I noticed a distinct lack of blondes when scrolling through pictures from Carlos n Charlies. There were some pretty uggy women in some of the pictures. Natalee would have been a standout, by far.

As an American citizen, I ask that the Netherlands employ all efforts to find the disappeared American citizen Natalee Holloway, who disappeared May 30, 2005, while on VACATION IN ARUBA.

Please require the investigators in Aruba to interrogate ALL the people possibly involved in the Natalee Holloway disappearance case (except the 2 security guards who were wrongly implicated), starting with:

the father, Paulus Van Der Sloot, of prime suspect Joran Van Der Sloot; the Kalpoe brothers Deepak and Satish; Lorenzo van Rijn and all the people that gave him an alibi; all the employees working that night at "Carlos and Charlie's"; the DJ, Steve Croes; all the employees of the casino(s) where Natalee went to; former Chief Van Der Straaten; the headmaster of the International School; etc.

Please require Aruba law enforcement to search the entire home and grounds, including the disused cistern of Paulus and Joran Van Der Sloot.

Please ensure the equipment and manpower be given to completely search the landfill, and other places, to be totally and completely searched.

Please assure any witnesses that they will not be deported, or disappear, or worse. People with information need to know they will be safe to come forward and tell what they know, without repercussions.

Please understand that many, many people of the world DO STILL CARE about the Natalee Holloway case - and are closely watching!

Wonderful, good work truthluva. I am glad that you put that to rest. Upon trying to find the original german article/posting, I had reached the conclusion that the article/post must have been posted by just an ordinary joe smo or perhaps scubajap herself.

ORANJESTAD, Aruba - Aruba's prime minister believes that authorities made mistakes at the start of the investigation of the Natalee Holloway case, a government spokesman said Monday.

"I think that he's in absolute agreement that the initial investigation has been so badly botched," Holloway Twitty said on NBC's "Today" show.

She said the prime minister also told her that Aruba needs to review the first stages of the investigation to find out "who let this go wrong."

Government spokesman Ruben Trapenberg said Monday the prime minister had expressed concerns about the initial investigation, though he used more cautious language.

"The prime minister agreed that in the beginning the case could have been better handled," Trapenberg said. "He didn't say it had been 'botched.'"

LONG LIST. He's 17 not 30. So I guess that settles it. Unless we have a long list or someone comes forward there is good reason to believe he is not capable of harming or bringing harm to Natalee.

Bottom line - Joran last seen w/Natalee - papa has meeting w/his son and the two brothers. They all know what happened and they are not talking and when they do - it lies. Nothing else matters.

I think the young blonde girl part is being overplayed. Americans have gone missing in Aruba. This could become part of the culture down there. "We don't know where they are. They party. They go. They like Aruba sooo much, maybe they no want to go home and...just...runaway"

I know, I know...nobody wants to say Amy Bradley went missing in Aruba because she was on a cruise ship from Aruba to Curacao. Her last known stop before she went missing was....Aruba.
