Missing: Natalee Holloway participated in a trip with 125 seniors from Mountain Brook High School to Aruba in the Caribbean. In the early morning hours on May 30, 2005 Natalee was seen leaving a nightclub and getting into a vehicle. She failed to turn up Monday morning for her return flight home and she has not been seen since. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.
Profile: Natalee Holloway was born on October 21, 1986 to Beth and Dave Holloway. She grew up in the close-knit community of Mountain Brook, a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama. She was very popular and respected by her classmates and had a reputation among peers at being very intelligent and focused on her future. She lived up to her reputation, graduating as an honors student from the Mountain Brook High School.

rolling stone IF Deepak is completely innocent of harming Natalee I would think that he would take the polygraph test to clear his name as you say. HOWEVER, his Defense Lawyer, you can be sure, will put the Kibosh on that!! We all know that it cannot be used in Court and that it isn't evidence but just think what it would do for Deepak if had that in his arsenal just to say. ANY defendant who has passed a polygraph test is only too willing to broadcast the fact they passed it!!!!!! I know it won't happen, I'm not so naive as to think he will even take the chance and do it but imo, if he didn't hurt natalee, he has just passed up a great way of giving others a way to believe him.

If my son were involved in something like this, I think just maybe I would want to distance myself lest I be next.

Thing of it is, I bet it won't be admissable because it can't be verified. It's the girls' word against Joran's.
I guess the secretary and the doctor can't be made to reveal their sessions with the thug.
If he's used drugs to assault young women in the past, they are likely to be an age that 1. they are 'into' their own lives and don't pay attention to the news much 2. if they know anything of this, and make a connection, probably don't want to 'interupt' their lives to come forward. That's JMO.

I can see this to a degree. The biggest thing I think would be to just put it behind them. It's embarrassing, just like domestic violence is embarrassing. It's natural for the victim to blame herself. The one girl said she is not afraid of PVDS. I think that is significant.
Maggie don't you think it would depend on how desperate someone is to show their willingness to "clear" their name??? At least one would think that if a person were totally innocent of any real involvement in the crime, they would be asking to do this. (Perhaps I live in a fantasy world LOL)!

Translated from Today’s Diario Newspaper:
ORANJESTAD (AAN) — Last night on The O’Reilly Factor of Fox one could hear how the parents of an American girl (today 18 years old) who was a girlfriend of Joran three years ago and this family is convinced that Joran van der Sloot is innocent in the case of the disappearance of Natalee.
It was mentioned that the youngsters met each other at a pool of a hotel where the family would have had a Timeshare, how Joran visited the family in the states and how he had contact with the girl via E-mail until recently.
This is contrary to what also reached the editorial desk, indicating that there is a girl of 17 years old who apparently will press charges against Joran to the authorities for rape. According to this information that reached our editorial desks, apparently there are 3 girls who want to press charges, but that two of them have not yet decided, but that the other does have the intention of pressing charges soon.

Why does it have to be a long list? To have done it at all should be enough. Three recent victims claiming date rape 'by Joran' isn't enough for you? Plus Natalee, of course. Four times in the past couple years isn't enough?
I wonder how gingersnaps and some of the other joran fans asre going to spin this..maybe they will need a helicopter..imagine Natalee and three other girls leading poor Joran on....

Great links friend.!!! I really appreciate you posting those. I have already sent a sizzling email to the first one. I will now do the Minister of Justice at the Haag and write to the Ambassador. I will not bother with Larry King. He thinks everybody is innocent. Nearly drove me batty during the Peterson trial. Just because he did this/that etc. doesn't make him a murderer. It became a running joke on our Peterson thread here. A rather sad joke tho. Really it's time Larry hung up his suspenders.!!
Do we know where to write to reach Nelson Oduber??? It is the Government of Aruba that is holding up the landfill search for lack of equipment. They are just stalling and stalling and frankly it appears that they are attempting to HINDER that search. What a shame it will be if equipment has to be flown in all the way from the USA!! It is COMPLETELY unnecessary.
