yep, it's sad. I've noticed the same intellectual bankruptcy from the pro-illegal alien apologists that I notice in the anti-gun lobby.

No logic, no facts, just attacks and rhetoric. It's one of the things that got me off the fence (because I wasn't really paying attention) and into the pro-border security camp.

The best thing about them, though, is that they're their own worst enemies. Every time they open their mouths to attack, they hurt their cause. Which means that as long as we keep on the offensive, victory is inevitable.

When will the rest of Free Republic wake up to the fact that all their enemies are banding together to use this issue as a battering ram in their attempt to tear down our civilization?

It is the exact same group of people that are showing up to protest everything. There is a large group of extreme left wingers that are organized through the Internet and they can whip up a protest about anything that is pro-American at a moments notice. They show up at the G8 and WTO Meetings, they are the anti-war demonstrators, and they are the famous Howard Dean Internet contributors and the solid left base of the Democratic Party.

But speaking of the intellectual bankruptcy of the pro-illegal alien apologists, how about that President Bush and the ridiculous bumper sticker lines he keeps asking us to swallow? "Good hearted People"
