"I don't believe it...Bush can't be that stupid, can he?"

You so called "scientist" suffer from terminal ideology syndrome..open your eyes from astrophysics to cell biology there is enough contradictions to "Evolution" as Darwin and your crowd proclaim that the Theory of intelligent design may well be the more powerful influence on biologic diversity with evolution being just a tool much like a computer that is useless without the software.

Name a few of these contradictions. I bet they'll simply stem from a misunderstanding of what the science actually says.

The trouble is that there is no Theory of intelligent design.

Yeah, yeah. ID may be this, it may be that. One thing that is isn't - it isn't accepted by those trained in the biological sciences. That's a hard, cold fact of reality. And those so trained are not sitting around reading these shouting matches on FR. Only through coercion upon an unwilling academic field will ID succeed. And that won't happen either.

Theory of intelligent design

Please state the testable, falsifiable hypothesis of Intelligent Design.

I agree, but...
Much like a computer with out a USER.
The software does little to nothing with out the interaction of an outside force. Good analogie, take it the rest of the way!

Examples of these "contradictions" please?

the Theory of intelligent design may well be the more powerful influence on biologic diversity

What is the "Theory of intelligent design"? What does it predict, how can it be tested and what hypothetical observation would falsify it? If you can't answer all of those questions, then it is -- without question -- not a scientific theory.

There aren't any lingering contradictions. If any contradictory evidence arises, the evolutionary theories will change to accomodate it. That's how science works.

ID, on the other hand, cannot conceivably be denied by any imaginable evidence in the minds of its believers. IDers take their fixed bizarre belief and attempt to construct equally bizarre explanations of natural phenomena around it.

The world I see works smoothly from moment to moment and never seems to violate certain physical laws. I see no reason to imagine the past was any different in that regard.

I hate it when he throws bones to the fundies. Thumbs down on this one, Mr. Bush. ~ DGray

****

These aren't bones, DGray

You concider your self intelligent is that not true?

And do you not prefer Order over Chaos?

Therefore your Ancestors DNA have begat this Intelligence from its original source?

If you want to continue to be disingenuous you can claim it is the fundies (I guess that fundamentalist)as root caused of this debate but are you not trying to NULLIFY this topic on Intelligent with a buzz word?

No matter where you go Like begats Like!

So far as I have observed evolution can only take place when the genitic are altered or a corrupt enviorment caused mutation!

The true progress is done by an intelligent source who had a desire and designed it, laid it out, in a blue print, and than proceed to manifest it in the physical.

So is not the REAL issue Design Universe vs.Chance Universe?

One is done by Intelligents, the other is by Accident!

One is of Order, the other is the Product of Chaos!

Because of design, there is witness skills which are procduced wtih precision and manifest a stablitiy and a matrix in which the foundation rest.

Intellignet is able to understand a blue print, mathmatics, and symbols to either to reproduce in the Physical or Create a new it is like the foundation of Classical Music and Jazz or Rap and Hip Hop!

One create and builds the other reeks havoc and destroys!

The unintelligent manesfest chaos, whims, instability and freak of nature etc.
