Firefighters drain a lake, Tuesday, July 26, 2005, in Oranjestad, Aruba searching for Alabama teenager, Natalee Holloway, who vanished nearly two months ago while vacationing in the island. Edwin Comemencia, a police spokesman, confirmed that the draining of the lake across from the Marriott Hotel was part of the investigation into Holloway's disappearance but would not comment further. I don't know what they knew. The pond was surely known to them. But the other questins I don't know. I am pessimistic a body will be found there, maybe tennis shoes or a weapon but I dont think a body. I guess I think a body is in the ocean.
I think it was clarified (in Fox?) that Joran replied to a question..something like "for all I know Deepak raped and killed her", a different context than that he knew for sure...

Is it possible that this person was using the word, "evidence" literally? That's what I think. In these days of "Court TV", and plenty of legal coverage on other media outlets, we all have definition in our minds of what "evidence" is. I'm not referring to "circumstantial evidence". There is a big difference between the two.
By the way, I'm not a Liberal, although I have admitted in public to having an ultra-liberal sister who is wound quite tight. LOL That being said, I have on occasion told my sons that they were surely going to be "babe magnets". Hope that isn't as bad as "chick magnets". ;)
