I don't believe you make $65 grand and I didn't finish reading your post.

I have worked my rear ass off for 26 yrs only to raise to 35,000 a year and I can do much skilled med training.

Perhaps I should sale tractors full of clothes?

You didn't ask what he was selling and whether he had worked his way up to a management position.

"med training"

That may be your problem. Medicine has been partially socialized (Medicare) and it has devalued the whole market.

My advice is to switch field and learn ...say plumbing or car repair.

Actually, I know many people without advanced degrees who make 65 and over in many areas, including retail. They work their hind ends off as well and do very well for themselves. Despite what it seems...those who work hard, do better.

I also know a lot of advanced degreed people who make under 50. It is the interesting part of capitalism. The market decides, at any given moment, how much your skills are worth.

As my parents have always told me, "life is not fair." Sometimes we come out on the short end...but always remember how many times you've been fortunate enough to come out on the long end and it's much easier to accept.
