LMAO!!
A search crew from Monroe County is getting ready to head to Aruba to help with the search for a missing teenager.
Members of the Northeast Search and Rescue team were testing out and packing up their gear on Sunday. They'll take off for Aruba later this week to aid in the search for Natalee Holloway. The Alabama teenager disappeared on the island back in May while on a school trip.
The search crew will take sonar equipment, radios and search dogs. Members of the crew said they're happy to help but they know it will be emotionally difficult.
"It's part of what we do," said crew member Bruce Barton. "We try to give closure to the family and bring Natalee back home to the U.S. That's the main thing."
Members of the team are volunteers. They hope to get donations to help with the expense of the trip.
