this does not surprise me......it was 2 or 3 wks ago when I saw an aruban govt spokesman suggest that Natalees and JVDS backgrounds were equal character and achievement.....I can't remember which official it was, but the remark was made when there were stories in the press of what a sleaze JVDS has been long before Natalee even went to aruba.

If I was in Congress, I'd call for hearings into this matter. I am REALLY PO'd about this!

yeah i scanned it... The thing is, Sean never dated Nat to my knowledge. Besides, the supposed quote from him saying he saw her on Sat. isn't legit. He was with me all day Sat. and we werent with Natalee then. I dont think he even said it. I dont know how they got his name though?

I think a lot of people don't realize that some of us were on the beach... one of us would have seen Nat if she was anywhere near there.

It wasnt that dark that night... plus, I could see the Marriott from where we were. I walked there Sat. night and it didnt take long at all.

And how about did she or did she not have an ATM card? Please.

I don't know if she did or not, but I wouldn't think so. I don't see how that would be relevant anyway? All she had with her was a small amount of money to get into the club and for a taxi and her ID.

You have to go through the hotel (either through the front or through the pool if coming from the beach) to get to her room. Also, yes you have to have a key to even get into the building where the rooms are located, but the door to the outside ("patio") cannot be opened with a key-card. It must be opened from the inside.
