I noticed that also. The friend said that if they had seen Natalee get into that "taxi" with J they would have stopped her. Natalee probably did think she was getting into a taxi. J should be told that since he said he "didn't do anything to Natalee" that it means she must be alive. So he will be kept in jail until Natalee shows up!
Not, that is a good idea. Ought to scare him! :)
