Wasn't that something the other night when Greta brought that point up about the news cycle! It's so basic and so easy to spot, you go right past it unless you're on the ball like Greta and hopefully the cops. Such a simple thing, and easy to see why J and his pals never thought of it. To be fair, though, they had a lot to think about that night.

Could be, or it could be that the ydropped them off. With a long walk in the dark, he might have thought he'd call one the brothers to talk, but didn't get an answer, so left a message. I realize Aruba is one of the safest places on earth.. (cough, cough), but just a few days later that man was found decapitated. So, it is possible that locals know the area isn't the safest after dark and he was just letting the know that he arrive home. Again, I think it may have been part of his alibi.

Without real facts its hard to say. All we have is a whole lot of rumors from a whole lot of sources and most are not relaible. fwiw

This was my original response. I went back and listened to BHT and heard the word suspects. I then changed it to suspects, but after rechecking corrected my quote to read she called them criminals twice and suspects twice.

Thanks for that site link. You look at the pics and what you see is Joran is a big kid, 17, and 6 foot 4. At that age the synapses don't click all the way through the brain, so they do very stupid things. Everything with them is what's right in front of their noses, they don't think of consequences until faced with mortal terror. It's easy to imagine J raping N and accidentally killing her, that's probably what happened. Killing her was easy, everything after that has been difficult. If only J's father hadn't told him to keep his big mouth shut, and told the K bros. the same thing. He really ruined this case and should be in jail.

Innocent until proven guilty is US law, but what is Aruban law?

Considering that the radio station had people screaming 'innocent until proven guilty', I'm guessing they must work along the same lines.
