Apparently the Dutch can't fly their F-16's as fast as we can fly ours. Must have governors on theirs.

I'm not sure that they are afraid of much, especially in trying to find out what happened. Can't see as how coming forth with anything, IF they have anything, can hurt a case that is already evaporating like a rain drop on a hot sidewalk in Aruba.

Dives are 5 weeks too late, like the F-16's.

The FBI was there day one, but did not do any diving. Why? Prohibited by Aruban LE?

IMHO, The chaperones messed up bigtime. A responsible chaperone would have seen to it that the kids had all checked in with him/her, that their bags were packed, that they had their passports in order, etc. With 7 chaperones, each would have to check only 20 students.

That is the problem. They weren't real 'chaperones'. *rolling eyes*

Do a Google on the words, "Crips, Bloods, colors" and you'll get a whole lot of info. I didn't know about it either. (In fact I have a sportshirt just like Joran's blue plaid one that I bought at JC Penney's).

I was researching the colors, since gangs have wormed their way into our fair city ( a small city in the Northeast), and there was a gang shoot-out near the hospital, one kid killed. So, I wanted to know how to recognize gang members if I see them.

It's an eye-opener!

I'm not back for long... I was just glancing over some posts, trying to refrain from saying anything for fear of being attacked again, but I would like to say once and for all that none of us who are closely tied to case are supporting the "banning Aruba" sentiments being spread currenty. We don't have a problem with the country, we have a problem with the people who took our friend. All we want is for her to return safely as soon as possible.

Please don't attack Aruba or its citizens who have been very supportive and instrumental to the search. I thank these people and am apalled that people would ridicule those who are trying to help.

I also do not feel that Beth should be attacked or faulted in any way whatsoever. She is one of the most amazing people I've ever met and it hurts me that people feel it justifiable to attack an already horribly victimized woman. She is not attacking anyone. She just wants her daughter back. I'd ask those who would say hurtful things about her to please think about how you would act in her situation... I think if you really took tim eto place yourself in her shoes you would see how noble her character truly is.

Also, the statement that all were intoxicated is clearly a generalization.

And perhaps projection? That poster writes with great authority but if s/he were "sheets to the wind," how would they know about anyone else's condition?

It seems that most of these kids were age 18 -- which may be still be childish -- but it is legal age most places, which is probably why they went to an island to party hearty in the first place.

Yeah which is sad. As I mentioned earlier, we had a groupf students that went to Europe. No drinking age, yet no one got drunk or partied hearty. Which says a lot considering the ages ranged from 15-18. We went to Monte Carlo, too, and there was no age limit there. Some of the students went there, not sure if they gambled or not.

It's tragic what has apparently happened to Natalee and her family, but as yet, there are no absolute "facts" about how she vanished.

I agree. There just isn't anything to go on. Suppositions don't cut it. She might have been the swimmer and drowned for all we know.

The way the man on tv told it, they take film, 45 minutes in length that shows the bottom of the sea floor.

Flying at such speed so far in the sky, jeez....give me a break!

But hey! It could be capturing sharks/big fish that can appear as a human body!

Waste of time.
