Yep...that's what it is alright. This is going to get a lot uglier before it gets better. I feel so bad for the family. No matter what they do now those people down there are not going to try to resolve this crime.

Thanks. I remember someone saying that people from the trip were clustered in groups and that if someone wasn't with one group, people just figured they were with another...something like that.

Thanks for the post from SM. I'm wondering who owns the Top 95 radio station. Perhaps one of PVDS's friends? Like most radio stations, they probably have screeners, who are deciding which callers get through.
The radio station could very well be doing propaganda for PVDS, to mis-lead the public on how the average Aruban feels about the Twittys.

I have posted these before....perhaps you missed them. They're from people who seem to know a bit more about Aruba than you and I. I have no reason to doubt them. I do believe we have something to learn here, as with all the sites and postings that so many have made on FR. Thanks again to all!

In case you think Aruba is a safe little island, it is well known for international drug trafficking and has been called "a smugglers paradise." Aruba is controlled by the Cuntrera Sicilian Mafia and is a major player is drugs. Aruban government officials are closed tied (bought off) by the mafia: former Premier (Henny Eman) and Minister of Justice (Edgar Vos) were so blatant that the people tried to get them out of office but couldn't. Why do drug dealers operate around all the hotels and night clubs with impunity? Because the police are told to leave them alone. Why can't Natalee Holloway be found? Because the government will have to expose the mafia, & heads will fall....literally. This is well documented from years and years of Aruba government corruption.

Did hear that if you paid a certain amount to the cops that they would give you permission to have raves. This came from a “posters” in riehlworld. He also said that if you are alone at night on the beach with a love interest, that the police would get their turn at the girl plus get your money and jewlery in order to “look the other way”.

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) - The mother of an Alabama teenager who disappeared more than a month ago on Tuesday expressed concern that two Surinamese brothers released from custody might try to flee the country and she asked other countries not to help them.
A judge ordered the release of Deepak Kalpoe, 21, and Satish Kalpoe, 18, on Monday, saying there was not sufficient evidence to continue holding them in Natalee Holloway's disappearance.
In an emotional news conference, Holloway's mother said she believes they should still be in jail and expressed concern they might try to flee the island.
"I'm asking all nations not to offer them a safe haven," Beth Holloway Twitty said. "These criminals are now free to walk among the tourists of Aruba ... while I have not seen my beautiful daughter in 36 days."
"My greatest fear is that they will leave Aruba," she said before breaking down in tears.
Agree, at 18 personal responsibility comes into play.
I heard a guy on Fox laughing about how this will not prove anything & I knew that when I first heard the Dutch were going to do this.
It's been way too long to even try that plan.
Besides, why did it take an F-16 almost a week to get to Aruba from Holland?
