I strongly suspect she was given the date rape drug. Urine had invested two(?) nights trying to seduce her and here was his last shot. He strikes me as a spoiled party boy who would stop at nothing to get his way.
Another "friend" shows up from time to time with a screen name I'm familiar with from other forums. This poster has been run off for using multiple screen names and takes a controversial view usually to disrupt the thread.
Oooops caught ya! You didn't read. I mentioned that Greta talked with Deepak. The person said that they refused to talk with the Twitty's. I hadn't heard that. Their lawyer did say that he didn't want them doing interviews. The fact that Deepak talked to Greta isn't my problem, its his lawyers.
I hadn't heard that they refused to talk to Natalee's parent's, only that Deepak had spoken with Greta off camera. It seems though that I recall their lawyer asking them not to give any interviews because of the ongoing investigation. When was it announced that they refused to talk to the Twitty's?

I share your suspicions and agree with you 150% that there are always those who blame the victim to feel superior. Thankfully, most of us never make a FATAL error in judgement and I am not conceding that Natalee did.

And the car thing. At one point, it was the silver Kalpoe boy's car...yet it was said that she left in a taxi - which is it, I wonder? Leads me to think there was another stop made - maybe at the Tatoo?

Okay, but did you see the friends' interview? They said he told them Sundays were dead on Aruba, so they were surprised when he showed up at C&C's. They said NH didn't really even talk with him or introduce herself.
I have to agree though about refusing his advances. It follows that he would hold his tongue to avoid having THAT get out! Egomaniacal, of that I've no doubt!

I still think there's something to the guys insisting she was drunk. I'm not saying NH wouldn't do that, just that I don't think she would on THAT night, having to get up early and leave.
I guess it does make sense on several levels. Like sleight of hand - now you see her, now you don't! :(
