Terri Schiavo's husband buried her cremated remains in a Clearwater cemetery Monday, inscribing on her bronze grave marker that ``I kept my promise.''
David Gibbs, an attorney for the woman's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, said inscribing the marker that way was a nasty political statement by Michael Schiavo, who held the service and burial Monday before telling her family.
``Obviously, that's a real shot and another unkind act toward a grieving mom and dad,'' Gibbs said.
After earlier announcing plans to bury his wife's ashes in their native Pennsylvania, Michael Schiavo instead interred them at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, near Tampa, his attorney, George Felos, said in a short news release Monday.

Uh, let me clue you in on a little secret. Terri isn't in her grave. Her ashes are (unless Michael flushed them down the toilet). Terri is in heaven. No matter what goes on down here on earth, she is at peace with God.
Why would God want the last laugh/word when He is the one that allowed her to become a vegetable? If God was interested in a last laugh, at any time in the 15 years, he would have healed her and told her to walk out of the care home!
Get over it, she never, ever would have gotten better and Michael is not the monster that everyone here has libeled him as.
What a sorry state of affairs that our legal system cannot recognize the true character of such evil and debased individuals.

I go out of my way to avoid the mania of these threads, but enough is enough, let her go, get on with your life, the autopsy proved what everyone said. If she were still alive she would still be trapped, never to ever recover.

Yeah, of course she wouldn't get better. She was denied treatment for 10 years, as he went and cheated with another woman and had children, and didn't have the guts or dignity to divorce her.

The autopsy only proved that an autopsy can prove whatever is most beneficial to whom ever the autopsy was intended to benefit.
