q -- "did terri schiavo suffer?"

nelson answers -- w/dx pvs, I'd say no

[why the acetaminophen in her screen ... ]

"take home msg is there is nothing INCONSISTENT w/dx pvs." [note wording.]

THIS IS NOT a dx where can look in glass (microscope) slide to dx

[functional MRI denied repeatedly]

vfib is nonspecific in initial collapse

when paramedics arrived at the scene, she was not breathing. resp. arrest & vfib worked552 to 6:42

at 6"46 she finally had a measurable blood pressure

it is a miracle

IT IS A TESTIMONY to the marvelous [strong] heart she had"

so tech is not a 'ht attack'?

a -- no. at that time, something happened that it did not beat.

he notes -- for 15 yrs her heart was strong and good.

took a Na level of 207 to kill her

a cont -- if that is not a testiment to the strength of her heart, ... shows it took something extraordinary to stop her heart in the initial event 15 yrs ago.

a cont -- buliminia noted to take enamel off teeth, this did not happen; no one noted standard probs w/bulimic.

Hypernatremia symptoms -
thirst
orthostatic hypotension
dry mouth and mucous membranes
dark, concentrated urine
loss of elasticity in the skin
irregular heartbeat (tachycardia)
irritability
fatigue
lethargy
heavy, labored breathing
muscle twitching and/or seizures
